Q Magazine

Q is a popular magazine published in the United Kingdom founded by Mark Ellen and David Hepworth and they had first posted their first magazine in October 1986 and an interesting fact is that it was meant to called cue however the named was changed so that people wouldn’t be confused with the snooker cue. Q in 2012 had sales go by down 16.7% compared to the six months to the end of December and 19.7% year on year and in December 2013 the amount they had made was a figure of 52,781. The q magazine also has a sister magazine called mojo and to compete with them they would often give out free gifts Cd’s or books and in 2006 they offered a free copy of the greatest rock and pop miscellany…Ever not only that they would also use something called spine line where the readers try to work out what the message has to do with the magazine and this became a common place among British life style and in 2008 Q revamped its image with a smaller amount of text and increased focus on subjects other than music
